Authorities are investigating an armed robbery that took place in Glen Burnie’s North Glen Park on October 12, at around 2:00 p.m. The victim was walking his dog on a trail near the basketball court when he was accosted by an armed suspect.
The victim described the assailant as a white male with a thin build, a tattoo on his left forearm, and a shaved head. He was wearing gray sweatshorts and a white t-shirt at the time of the incident. According to the victim, the suspect emerged from behind a tree and pointed a handgun at him, demanding a ride.
Complying with the armed man’s demands, the victim drove the suspect to Flagger Force and Cromwell Field Shopping Center in Glen Dale. Before exiting the car, the suspect demanded cash and took personal items from the victim. He then fled the scene.
Northern District Detectives have taken up the case and are actively investigating the incident. Despite conducting an initial search in the area, officers have not yet located the suspect.
