20-Year-Old Woman In Stable Condition After Early Morning Shooting in Baltimore

BALTIMORE, MD – Detectives from the Baltimore Police Department’s Southern District are investigating an early morning shooting that took place Friday, at around 3:16 a.m.

Officers responded to a report of a shooting on the 1100 block of South Carey Street, where they found a 20-year-old woman suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

The victim was promptly transported to a nearby hospital and is currently listed in stable condition. Authorities have not yet released details surrounding the circumstances.

No arrests have been made and no suspects were identified at this time.

“Southern District detectives are actively investigating this incident,” stated a representative from the police department. “We urge anyone with relevant information to come forward.”
