NEW HOLLAND, PA – On October 4, Nigeir Martinez was taken into custody by the New Holland Police Department following an investigation into the Statutory Sexual Assault of a 15-year-old minor.
During the investigation, a second rape allegation involving Martinez and a 13-year-old minor emerged. Martinez was subsequently charged in connection with this second case.
Martinez faced a series of charges including rape, false imprisonment of a minor, statutory sexual assault, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, indecent assault, indecent exposure, corruption of minors, unlawful contact with minors, sexual abuse of children, and criminal use of a communication facility.
He was arraigned before MDJ David Miller and MDJ William Benner. Bail was set at $100,000 for the initial offenses and $300,000 for the subsequent charges. Unable to post bail, Martinez was sent to Lancaster County Prison.
