Wall Township Police Investigate Two-Vehicle Collision

WALL TOWNSHIP, NJ – On Saturday, at approximately 6:45 pm, the Wall Township Police Department responded to a two-vehicle collision on State Highway 35 and 18th Avenue, resulting in multiple injuries.

Mitchell G. Holley, 34, of Linburn, Georgia, operating a 2011 Nissan Altima, reportedly veered into the northbound lane of State Highway 35, colliding with a 2023 Mazda CX3, operated by a 39-year-old man and occupied by a 31-year-old female, both of Point Pleasant.

All involved parties required extrication from their vehicles by emergency crews and were transported to Jersey Shore University Medical Center.

The collision prompted the closure of State Highway 35 from Wall Church Road to 18th Avenue for approximately an hour and a half. Emergency crews from various departments responded to the scene.

Holley, found to be operating a vehicle with a suspended driver’s license, was issued summonses for reckless driving and driving while suspended. Criminal charges are pending toxicology results.
