CAPITOL HEIGHTS, MD – The Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is probing into a fatal collision that occurred last Friday, involving a motorcycle and a car, resulting in the death of 30-year-old Christopher Eugene Johnson of Washington, DC.
At approximately 8:55 pm, officers responded to a crash report at the intersection of Central Avenue and Pepper Mill Drive.
Preliminary findings suggest that Johnson, while riding his motorcycle, collided with the rear passenger side of a car turning left onto Pepper Mill Drive from Central Avenue. Johnson was transported to a hospital but succumbed to his injuries a short time later.
A passenger in the involved car sustained critical injuries and is currently receiving medical attention. The investigation is ongoing.
