Alleged Wilmington Drug Dealer Arrested in Warrant Sweep

WILMINGTON, DE – Ronald Maddrey, a 28-year-old Wilmington resident, has been arrested on drug-related charges by the Delaware State Police. The arrest followed a search warrant carried out at his Wilmington apartment early on Monday.

On the morning of October 2nd, around 6:10 a.m., Delaware State Police, in collaboration with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, executed search warrants at three separate apartments in Wilmington. These properties are situated on the 700 block of North Jackson Street, the 2600 block of North West Street, and the 2500 block of West Third Street.

The search was the culmination of several months of investigative efforts focused on Maddrey, who had been under suspicion for drug distribution activities. Additional information uncovered during the investigation indicated active warrants against him from the Wilmington Police Department. Maddrey was apprehended without any complications during the execution of the search warrant.
