HARFORD COUNTY, MD – Dwayne Aaron Johnson, a 39-year-old man from Edgewood, is currently in custody, charged with the shooting that took place on Tuesday, July 4.
At about 4:12 p.m., Harford County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrived at the 600 block of Edgewood Road. There, they located Rayvon Perry, a 21-year-old from Aberdeen, suffering from a gunshot wound near the Royal Farms.
Following the incident, three more victims presented themselves at different hospitals for gunshot wounds. They included Cameron Ward, 21, from Edgewood, and two 17-year-old males. The shooting took place at the 600 block of Harr Park Court after a dispute among a gathered crowd escalated, leading to multiple shots fired.
Harford County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division took over the investigation and identified Johnson as the suspect. On Thursday, an arrest warrant was issued for Johnson on charges of attempted 1st and 2nd-degree murder.
He was arrested the following day without incident and is now being held at the Harford County Detention Center without bond. The investigation is still underway. Anyone with relevant information is asked to contact Detective Moro at 443-409-3154.
