BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – The 26-year-old woman and CEO was found beaten to death late yesterday morning in Central Baltimore.
Just after 11:30 a.m., officers from the Baltimore Police Department were dispatched to an apartment complex located in the 300 block of West Franklin Street in response to a call for service.
Upon arrival, officers encountered the lifeless body of a 26-year-old female, displaying apparent signs of blunt-force trauma. The Medical Examiner’s Office promptly arrived at the scene and took custody of the victim’s body.
The founder and CEO of EcoMap Technologies, Pava Lapere, has been officially identified as the victim.
Preliminary information indicates that a missing person’s report had been issued not long before the discovery of the deceased.
