Arrest Made in Connection with Rivington Street Shooting

NEW YORK CITY, NY – On Friday, at around 6:05 am, detectives arrested and charged Jonathan Morales, a 36-year-old resident of 525 Roosevelt Avenue, in connection with a murder.

The incident in question occurred on Sunday, June 25, shortly after midnight.

Police were called to 210 Rivington Street, where they found an 18-year-old male, later identified as Eliahs Brazoban of 555 FDR Drive, with a gunshot wound to his neck.

He was rushed to New York Presbyterian Lower Manhattan Hospital but was later pronounced dead.

The investigation into this case is still ongoing.
