Loaded Gun and Drugs Found on Fairmont Heights High School Student

LANDOVER, MD – The Prince George’s County Police Department is currently investigating an incident at Fairmont Heights High School where a 17-year-old junior was found in possession of a loaded gun and illegal drugs.

The discovery was made shortly before 11:00 am.

A witness initially alerted school administrators about the student possibly having illegal drugs.

During the subsequent search, security personnel recovered both the gun and drugs. The firearm was equipped with a machine conversion device.

The student is now facing multiple charges, including possession of a handgun on school property, possession of a firearm by a minor, and possession of a controlled substance, among others.
