LANCASTER COUNTY, PA – Janiyah Torres, a 17-year-old from Columbia, is set to face charges of criminal homicide in the first and third degree for an incident that occurred on August 14.

Columbia Borough Police Officers were dispatched to the 200 block of N. Third Street around 11:49 p.m. following a reported stabbing.

Upon arrival, officers found 19-year-old Anthony Serrano Jr. with a stab wound.

He was transported to a local hospital but later succumbed to his injuries. Preliminary investigations suggest that a domestic dispute between Torres and Serrano preceded the stabbing.

Torres was arrested without incident and is currently held at Lancaster County Youth Intervention Center.
