Two Arrested for Shooting of Teen in Virginia Beach

VIRGINIA BEACH, VA – Officers from the Virginia Beach Police Department (VBPD) arrested two suspects involved in a shooting incident that originally began as a marijuana drug transaction on August 17.

The shooting, which took place at the 1100 block of Level Green Boulevard, resulted in a 19-year-old male being transported to a local hospital with several gunshot wounds. The victim survived the attack.

Detectives identified the suspects as Antonio Jordan Jr, 25, of Portsmouth, and Ta’Shae Branch, 24, of Chesapeake. Both had multiple charges signed against them, including Robbery and Aggravated Malicious Wounding.

VBPD’s Warrant Fugitive Squad apprehended Jordan and Branch on September 15. Jordan, found in possession of a firearm at the time of his arrest, faces additional charges of Felon in Possession of a Firearm and Concealed Carry of a Firearm without a License.
