Philadelphia Police Seek Suspect Who Robbed Blue Collar Contractor

PHILADELPHIA, PA – Central Detective Division is urging the public to assist in identifying an individual captured in a recent video clip.

On Friday, September 14, around 8:14 am, a worker parked his truck on the 100 block of S 5th Street. Shortly after, an unidentified white male parked a Chrysler Minivan in front of the worker’s truck.

The minivan had a dark-colored right front fender and bore a PA license plate, HRW-7081, which was reported stolen.

The unknown individual then exited his vehicle and allegedly stole tools from the parked work truck. The tools, as reported by the victim, are valued at approximately $350. The suspect is described as a heavyset white male wearing glasses, a camouflage hat, a gray t-shirt, and dark shorts.

Central Detective Division is actively investigating the incident and asked anyone with relevant information to come forward.
