GLEN BURNIE, MD – A 74-year-old man was taken into custody on September 20 after allegedly pointing a firearm at a woman during a verbal altercation. No shots were fired in the incident.
Officers responded at approximately 9:00 a.m. to a reported assault in the 6900 block of Glen Ridge Circle. On arrival, they discovered that the male suspect had engaged in a verbal dispute with an adult female. During this argument, the suspect is alleged to have pointed his lawfully owned and possessed firearm at the woman.
The responding officers seized the firearm, and the suspect was subsequently taken into custody. He has been charged in relation to the incident.
