BALTIMORE, MD – Law enforcement units conducting proactive enforcement apprehended a suspect with an open warrant, recovering a firearm and ammunition during the operation.
On the night of September 19, officers observed an individual with an open warrant near Belair Road and Mayfield. A brief foot chase ensued after initial contact was made with the suspect. During the pursuit, the individual discarded a handgun equipped with a drum magazine.
The suspect was taken into custody without incident. Recovered at the scene were one Glock 19 9mm handgun, one drum magazine containing 23 live rounds, and one empty magazine. The apprehension was deemed a significant success by the enforcing units.
