FRANKFORD, DE – Anthony Morris, 21, Christiana Sturgis, 18, and a 17-year-old male were arrested last Friday following a search warrant executed at a residence in Frankford.
The operation was led by Sussex Special Investigations Detectives and supported by the Delaware State Police Special Operations Response Team, Troop 4 Patrol, and Probation and Parole.
The search warrant was part of a multiple-month-long investigation into Morris, who was suspected of large-scale narcotics distribution. The residence was occupied by five adults and two juveniles at the time of the search. Morris and the 17-year-old male were taken into custody without incident, while Sturgis was arrested without injury after resisting arrest.
The Delaware State Police are responsible for the ongoing investigation. All three suspects face multiple drug and gun charges and are currently in custody.
The Delaware State Police asked anyone with additional information to come forward. The suspects are awaiting further legal proceedings.
