BRADFORD, PA – District Attorney Stephanie Vettenburg-Shaffer announced that Matthew Thomas Pritt has been charged with solicitation of child [censored]ography.

The charge came after a referral from Kane Borough Police Department, who received a complaint from a man in Kane.

Pritt had mistakenly believed the man to be a 16-year-old female and solicited explicit photographs from him.

Officer Joshua Frederoski intercepted Pritt when he arrived at a pre-arranged meeting location.

Pritt was taken into custody and arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Richard Luther, who set bail at $200,000. Pritt is scheduled for central court on September 21.
