BROOKLYN, NY – A serial burglar targeted two Fulton Street businesses, making away with more than $11,000 in goods during two separate incidents.
The first burglary occurred on Thursday, August 17, when an unknown individual entered 490 Fulton Street, the location of a Burlington Coat Factory. The suspect accessed the store after business hours through an emergency exit and stole various items including fragrances, clothing, and electronics totaling $6,050. The suspect then left the scene, and no injuries were reported.
The second incident took place on Tuesday, September 5. An unknown individual forcibly entered 480 Fulton Street, which houses Champ’s, also after business hours. Items including apparel, sneakers, and $700 in cash were stolen, totaling a value of $5,300. The individual then fled the location to parts unknown. No injuries were reported in this case as well.
The suspect is described as a male, approximately 5’5″ with a thin build.
