NEW YORK, NY – President Joe Biden became the post-9/11 president to miss ceremonies for the September 11, 2001 terrorist attack in America after stopping in Anchorage Alaska to speak on the matter.
According to Fox News White House Correspondent Peter Doocy, a Biden staffer said that Biden missed 9/11 ceremonies in D.C., Pennsylvania and Washington, D.C., the three sites where hijacked airplanes crashed, was not a big deal.
“The analogy that I was given was, that 22 years after Pearl Harbor, U.S. Presidents were not still going to Hawaii,” Doocy claims.
Instead, Biden dispatched Vice President Kamala Harris to attend the ceremony at New York City’s Ground Zero memorial.
Vice President Jill Biden laid a wreath at the 9/11 Pentagon Memorial in Washington, D.C.
Former New York City Mayors Rudy Giuliani and Bill de Blasio joined current Mayor Eric Adams in Lower Manhattan on Tuesday.
