Orange County Celebrates Fall with Array of Family-Friendly Festivals ORANGE COUNTY, NY – The autumn season ushers in a variety of family-friendly festivals across Orange County, featuring activities like hay rides, pumpkin picking, live music, and food.
“Fall in Orange County is a time to celebrate the region’s unique offerings just 50 miles north of New York City,” said Amanda Dana, Director of Orange County Tourism & Film.
Featured Events:
New York Renaissance Faire: Held on Saturdays and Sundays through Oct. 8 at 600 Rt. 17A, Tuxedo Park. The fair features 16th-century village-themed events, artisans, shows and jousting competitions.
Fall Wrap-Up Carnival: Takes place from Sept. 20-24 at Blue Arrow Farm, 86 Glenwood Rd, Pine Island. Enjoy rides, games, classic midway foods, and the Garden State Comic Fest on Sept. 23.
The Good Vibes and Hay Rides Fall Festival: Scheduled for Sept. 23-25 at Wagon Wheel Farm, 363 Sarah Wells Trail, Goshen. The festival offers hayrides, bouncy castles, food truck treats, and live music among other activities.
Fall Foliage Festival: Happens on Sept. 24 in downtown Port Jervis from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The festival features a family-friendly street fair with vendors and a Classic Car Show.
Annual Fall Festival: Set for Sept. 24 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Main Street, Cornwall. This community event has vendors, entertainment, and various activities.
Dogwood Acres Fall Festival: Runs on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Columbus Day from Sept. 29 to Oct. 29 at Dogwood Acres Family Farm, 749 Rt. 17M, Middletown. Enjoy family fun at the garden center.
Warwick Applefest: Occurs on Oct. 1 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Warwick. The event includes craft vendors, an apple pie baking contest, food vendors, and live music.
Sugar Loaf Fall Festival: Takes place on Oct. 7-8 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Sugar Loaf, Chester. The festival features artisan and retail vendors, a wine bar, and a beer garden.
Fall Festival: Scheduled for Oct. 14 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Goshen Village Green, Main Street, Goshen. The festival includes a chili cook-off, hay rides, and local artists.
