LITTLE EGG HARBOR, NJ – Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer and Little Egg Harbor Township Chief of Police James Hawkins have announced the arrest of Christopher Miller, 36, and Marc Manfredonia, 32, following a violent incident that left one man injured from multiple gunshot wounds.
On September 9, at around 4:30 a.m., Little Egg Harbor Township Police responded to a call at a residence on East Hudson Drive regarding reports of gunfire. Officers found a 36-year-old male victim with multiple gunshot wounds, who was then transported to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Pomona. He is now in stable condition.
Investigations by various law enforcement agencies identified Miller and Manfredonia as the assailants. According to the investigation, the victim had visited the two men, whom he knew, at the East Hudson Drive residence. Miller and Manfredonia then forcibly removed the victim from the home, demanding money. After the victim complied by transferring funds via a mobile app, they demanded more. When the victim refused, Miller shot him multiple times, targeting his leg, groin, and ear, while Manfredonia continued the physical assault.
Both suspects were arrested without incident at the scene and are now in Ocean County Jail, pending a detention hearing. Miller and Manfredonia face charges of Attempted Murder, Robbery, Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose, and Unlawful Possession of a Weapon.
