Pedestrian in Critical Condition After Hit-and-Run in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA, PA – On Tuesday, at 8:50 P.M., Philadelphia Police responded to an auto-pedestrian accident on the 24XX block of East Lehigh Avenue.

A dark-colored sedan hit a pedestrian who was attempting to cross Lehigh Avenue and fled the scene.

The pedestrian was transported to Temple University Hospital and is in extremely critical condition. The vehicle is described as a dark-colored sedan with a PA Temp Tag# 4183108.

The suspect is described as a dark-complected male, although the race is unknown.

The investigation is active and ongoing with the Crash Investigation Division. Anyone who sees the suspect or the vehicle is advised not to approach but to contact 911 immediately.
