CHERRY HILL, NJ – South Jersey’s LGBTQ+ community and allies gathered in Cooper River Park for the “Out in the Park” festival, a day filled with live entertainment, contests, and community support.
The festival, which took place on September 10, welcomed attendees to bring their own blankets, chairs, and tables to enjoy the festivities. The event was family-friendly, including activities for children and pets, and featured a voguing contest and giveaways.
Various direct sales and food vendors were present, offering a wide range of products and cuisine. Free street parking was available, and attendees were reminded not to park on the grass.
The festival did not have a rain date, reflecting the organizers’ commitment to fostering community unity, rain or shine.
