Downbeach Seafood Festival Coming This Weekend

VENTNOR, NJ – The Downbeach Seafood Festival turned Ventnor’s Ski Beach into a gastronomic haven, featuring local and regional seafood while also supporting the Community Food Bank of New Jersey.

The festival, hosted by Good Team Tricycle Productions, included approximately 20 seafood restaurants and purveyors. Chefs and restaurateurs from Atlantic County crafted a variety of seafaring dishes, promoting the area as a culinary destination.

In line with National Hunger Action Month, the festival aimed to contribute to social good. All proceeds from the Chowder Cook-Off, one of the event’s highlights, went directly to the Community Food Bank of New Jersey.

Activities extended beyond food. The festival included children’s activities and art, live sand sculpting, music performances, and complimentary demos and seminars. The Great Brews of NJ Tasting Tent and a Crab Cake Eating Competition added more layers to the event.

Advance tickets were available online, and entry was free for children aged 12 and under. The festival not only served as a showcase for Atlantic County’s culinary scene but also as a community event with a philanthropic angle.
