EPHRATA, PA – Shakeena L. Binder, a 34-year-old resident of Leola, has been charged by the Ephrata Police with Aggravated Assault, Recklessly Endangering Another Person, and Criminal Mischief.
The incident occurred on Sunday at approximately 12:09 p.m. and began in the Walmart parking lot located at 890 East Main Street, Ephrata Township.
The confrontation involved Binder, her husband, and another woman. Binder pursued the other woman in her vehicle from the Walmart parking lot to the 600 block of West Main Street in Ephrata Borough. During the chase, Binder repeatedly struck the other woman’s vehicle, prompting her to call 911.
Upon reaching the 600 block of West Main Street, Binder forced the other vehicle off the road and into a building. No serious injuries were reported as a result of the collision. Binder is currently being held for arraignment and is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
