Argument Over Bathroom Use Leads to Assault, Arson Threat

CAMBRIDGE, MD – Victor Alfonso Salas-Guerra, a 32-year-old resident of Cambridge, was arrested following a disturbance in the 600 block of Schoolhouse Lane on August 25, at approximately 1:35 p.m.

Salas-Guerra was charged with threat of arson and second-degree assault after he reportedly became angry over bathroom use and threatened to burn down the house and the victim.

The victim also reported a separate assault incident involving Salas-Guerra at work.

Salas-Guerra was taken into custody and has since been released on his personal recognizance.

The Cambridge Police Department is overseeing the investigation.
