WOODSIDE, NY – The New York Lottery announced today that a second-prize-winning ticket for the Aug 25 Mega Millions drawing was sold in Woodside.
The ticket, worth $1,000,000, was sold at Woodside Candy Store located at 60-04 Woodside Avenue.
In Mega Millions, winning numbers are drawn from a field of one to 70, and the Mega Ball is selected from a separate field of one to 25.
Drawings occur every Tuesday and Friday at 11 p.m. Winners have up to one year from the date of the drawing to claim their prize.
