WASHINGTON, D.C. — An early morning shooting Saturday morning on the 2000 block of 10th Street in Northwest D.C. has left one man dead and another injured. Detectives from the Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department are investigating the deadly shooting.
Just after 4 a.m., Police responded to the 2000 block of 10th Street following sounds of gunshots. Officers found two adult males, one of whom had suffered gunshot wounds. He was immediately transported to a local hospital, where he later died despite lifesaving efforts. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services treated The other man for a graze wound on the scene.
The deceased victim has been identified as 18-year-old Keni Edwards of Southeast, D.C.
