LEXINGTON PARK, MD – Emergency services were dispatched to the 21600 block of Enterprise Road in Lexington Park on Sunday, following reports of a shooting at around 5:40 p.m.
Upon arrival, they found a 15-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to his upper body.
A Maryland State Police helicopter, Trooper 6, was requested to aid in transporting the young victim.
The current situation surrounding the incident remains under investigation.
This marks the third instance of a teen falling victim to a shooting in Lexington Park since Friday. Another recent shooting is also being looked into in West Westbury.
