Shooting at New Castle Car Meet Leaves Teen Dead

NEW CASTLE, DE – A 17-year-old, identified as Aaizeem Korden-Brown, was fatally shot during an unsanctioned car meet in New Castle County, Delaware.

The incident took place on Sunday just after 2 a.m. at the Delaware Logistics Center on Bear Corbitt Road. Delaware State Police reached the scene and found Korden-Brown with several gunshot wounds.

He was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

Additionally, a 21-year-old male was found with a gunshot wound to his foot and was taken to a nearby hospital. He is now in stable condition. Both victims hailed from New Castle.

Initial findings revealed that a substantial crowd had assembled for the car meet. At one point, a confrontation involving the victims led to the firing of numerous shots.
