Pedestrian Struck and Killed in Adelphi Hit and Run

ADELPHI, MD – On Sunday, at about 3:15 a.m., the Prince George’s County Police Department’s Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit responded to a fatal hit-and-run involving a pedestrian.

The incident took place on the 2000 block of University Boulevard.

Initial investigations suggest that the victim suffered fatal injuries after being hit by a vehicle, the driver of which did not stay at the scene.

The Prince George’s County Police Department is trying to determine the driver’s identity and locate the vehicle in question.

The victim’s identification was not released by police.
