ODENTON, MD – On August 15, a comprehensive six-month investigation spearheaded by detectives from the Major Offenders Unit and the Opioid Enforcement Unit culminated in a notable drug raid in the Odenton and Severn regions of Anne Arundel County.

The primary subject of this operation was found to be connected to two apartments in the 8300 block of Telegraph Road, Odenton. Acting on this intelligence, early at around 5:30 a.m., detectives, in collaboration with the Special Operations Section, executed two search warrants.

Their efforts led to the discovery of an alarming array of illicit items: an estimated 4.5 kilograms of what’s believed to be cocaine, roughly 3.5 kilograms of suspected cannabis, close to 99 grams of what’s believed to be heroin, a semi-automatic handgun, and a sum of $9,401 in US currency.

Following these revelations, three residents from both addresses were taken into custody.

Eric Craig Brown Jr., a 26-year-old from Odenton, Maryland, Desmond Olander Banks, a 30-year-old from Odenton, Maryland, and Chyna Patrice Jackson, another 26-year-old from Odenton, were arrested and now facing corresponding charges.

The legal proceedings concerning the detainees are ongoing.
