PHILADELPHIA, PA – Joyce Brown-Rodriguez, 56, has been recently sentenced to serve between 20 to 40 years in state prison after pleading guilty to third-degree murder, criminal conspiracy, and other charges related to the murder of Christopher M. Wilson.

The incident took place in Middletown Township in December 2020.

In a trial last month, Brown-Rodriguez testified against her son, leading to his conviction of first-degree murder and related charges.

Wilson’s daughters described their father as a devoted individual, expressing the depth of their grief. The Middletown Township Police Department and Bucks County District Attorney’s Office, assisted by the Bucks County 20th Investigating Grand Jury, led the investigation into the crime.

They discovered that after a break-up, Brown-Rodriguez, upset, contacted her son for help which culminated in the fatal shooting of Wilson at his workplace on December 9, 2020.
