POINT PLEASANT, NJ – For those planning a trip to the Jersey Shore, here’s what you can expect in terms of weather over the next couple of days:
On Wednesday, be cautious of patchy fog in the early morning hours before 9am. As the day progresses, the fog will clear, giving way to partly sunny conditions. The temperature is predicted to climb to a comfortable high of around 81 degrees. The morning will start with a north wind at 5 to 10 mph, but as we move into the afternoon, it will shift to come from the southeast.
Come Wednesday night, expect the skies to remain partly cloudy. It will be relatively mild with a low temperature settling around 70 degrees. The south wind will blow gently at approximately 5 mph before becoming more tranquil as the night deepens.
On Thursday, the Jersey Shore will again see partly sunny skies, and temperatures will hover close to 80 degrees. The south wind will continue to blow, maintaining a speed between 5 to 10 mph throughout the day.
Thursday night brings a slight possibility of showers. Additionally, there’s a potential for thunderstorms, particularly after 2am. Though the skies will be partly cloudy, the temperature is expected to dip slightly to a low around 73 degrees. A south wind will persist at around 10 mph. Overall, there’s a 20% chance of precipitation for Thursday night. So, if you’re thinking of an evening beach stroll, you might want to keep an umbrella handy, just in case.
