BEL AIR, MD – Shortly after a woman was reported missing at the MA and PA trail, police in Harford County announced the disappearance of a second woman. The Harford County Sheriff’s Office says the two incidents are unrelated.
Authorities are now searching for Karen Elliott, a 58-year-old woman who was last seen at her residence in Bel Air on Saturday at approximately 2:20 PM.
Karen was wearing a green shirt and blue jeans when she was last spotted heading into the wooded area behind Cypress Drive.
In an effort to locate her, a robocall has been sent out to surrounding communities, and day two of the search in the area has been completed.
As of now, there is no indication of danger to the community. HCSO emphasized that this missing person case is entirely unrelated to the homicide investigation at the MA and PA Trail, and they do not believe there is any immediate threat to the community regarding the Cypress Drive case.

A second missing person investigation is also underway.
Police in Harford County are searching for a woman who disappeared on Saturday.
The Harford County Sheriff’s Office has identified a second missing woman as Rachel Morin, a 37-year-old woman last seen on Saturday at approximately 6:00 PM.

Rachel was headed for a walk on the Ma and Pa Trail in Bel Air and has not been seen since.
Rachel is 5’2″ tall, weighing 107 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a blue or black tank top, a black sports bra, black spandex shorts, and gray sneakers.
