NETHER PROVIDENCE, PA – The Nether Providence Township Police responded to a shooting incidenton Wednesday, at Congregation Ohev Shalom. The call came in at approximately 1:37 PM.
Upon arrival, officers found five adult males in a vehicle in the synagogue’s parking lot, one of whom had suffered a gunshot wound to the leg.
Information given to the police indicated that the shooting had occurred in Kinder Park.
The Park is a community of homes that straddles the Nether Providence and Ridley Township borders.
Once it was determined that the shooting took place on the Ridley Township side, the Ridley Township Police Department took over the investigation.
