NYC Cop Arrested for Assault, Criminal Mischief

NEW YORK, NY – A seven-year veteran cop in New York City has been arrested for assault and criminal mischief.

Early Monday morning at around 2:00 am, the off-duty New York City employee was arrested and charged within the jurisdiction of the 107th Precinct in Queens.

The officer was later identified as Harry Espinal, a 34-year-old male serving as an NYPD Police Officer.

According to city records, Espinal began his tour with Brooklyn’s 88th Precinct in May after serving as a specialized training officer. He does not appear to have any negative marks on his service record as an officer.
