Suspicious Activity Leads to Drug Bust and Arrest

SYRACUSE, NY – Officers Omery and James made an arrest following a report of suspicious activity on Tuesday, July 18th, around 8:38 p.m.

Kenneth Davis was seen waving a handgun from his red BMW at the intersection of Second North Street and Kirkpatrick Street, as reported by a passerby.

The officers’ subsequent search of Davis’ vehicle led to the discovery of a bag containing 15 grams of a substance that tested positive for crack cocaine. Other items found included two cell phones, a portable digital scale, sandwich bags, and $700 in cash.

Davis was taken into custody and is currently being held at the Onondaga County Justice Center.

He faces charges of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree with Intent to Sell and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree.
