NEW YORK CITY, NY – As part of an ongoing investigation, the New York City Police Department seeks information regarding an incident that involved an individual fleeing in a red SUV with two white doors on the driver side.
The SUV, operated by a second unknown individual, was last seen heading eastbound on East 166 Street.
On Friday, July 7, at approximately 10:25 am, an unidentified individual entered a smoke shop at 212 East 167 Street. Displaying a firearm, he forced the two employees, a 21-year-old man and a 37-year-old man, into a back room, restrained them, and stole approximately $500 and a cellphone.
The suspect is described as a 35 to 50-year-old man, roughly 5’8″ to 5’9″ tall, last seen wearing a white and black baseball cap, a white mask, black hooded sweatshirt, blue gloves, black pants, and black shoes.
