CHARLESTON, W.VA. – West Virginia had two winning tickets sold for the recent billion-dollar jackpot, although the jackpot itself was not hit in the state. One million-dollar ticket was sold at Hartman’s Gas & Go on Keyser Avenue in Petersburg, and a $50,000 ticket was sold at Shinnston Price Cutter on Pike Street in Shinnston.

The holders of these winning tickets are urged to sign the back of the ticket and call the West Virginia Lottery at 304-558-0500 for further instructions on how to claim their prizes.

The million-dollar ticket matched all five numbers in the draw but missed the Power Ball, while the $50,000 winner matched four numbers and the Power Ball. Neither of the tickets had the Power Play option added.

The winning numbers for Wednesday’s draw were 7, 10, 11, 13, 24, and the Power Ball number was 24. Players are reminded to check their tickets as there are nine prize tiers, ranging from $4 to the jackpot.

As for the upcoming draw, the Powerball jackpot has reset to $20 million, and tickets for the next draw can be purchased for $2 each, or $3 with the Power Play option, which increases non-jackpot prizes. Tickets must be purchased by 9:59 pm on Saturday for the next draw.
