FROSTBURG, MD – A Western Maryland woman is celebrating her recent $50,000 win playing the new FAST PLAY game, Double Win. The lucky winner, a mother of two and a fan of scratch-offs and FAST PLAY tickets, discovered the game while at a 7-Eleven in Frostburg.
Curiosity piqued, she decided to give the new game a try. As she pulled the ticket from the Lottery vending machine, she couldn’t believe her eyes when she saw her $50,000 prize printed on the first line. Keeping her excitement to herself, she quietly left the store amidst the hustle of other customers.
Sitting in her car, the Allegany County resident used the Lottery app on her smartphone to confirm her win. Seeing the zeros appear on the screen, she couldn’t help but smile with joy.
Although she had errands to run, the fortunate winner kept the winning ticket close, placing it beside her in the passenger seat as she drove. However, a sudden gust of wind reminded her of its importance, and she quickly secured the ticket when she opened the car door at her next stop.
As of now, the winner has shared her news with only her daughter and husband, intending to keep the win a secret. Most of the prize money will go towards paying off the loan on her recently acquired vehicle.
