Two Men Charged in Connection with September 2020 Homicide

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department has announced the arrest of two men in connection with a homicide dating back to 2020.

Storm Jones, a 24-year-old male from 2016 Hughes Avenue, Bronx, NY, was arrested and charged on Thursday. Charges against Jones include murder, manslaughter, robbery, and criminal possession of a weapon.

In addition, Randy Maccow, a 21-year-old male from 2008 Hughes Avenue, Bronx, NY, was previously arrested and charged on Sunday, March 13, 2022. Maccow’s charges include murder and robbery.

Both charges stem from an incident on Tuesday, September 1, 2020. At approximately 01:45 am, police responded to a call of a male shot at Prospect Avenue and Elsmere Place. Upon arrival, police discovered Jeffrey German, a 29-year-old male from 102 Post Avenue, New York, NY, inside a 2019 Volkswagen, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

German was transported to St. Barnabas Hospital where he was later pronounced dead. The investigation into this case remains ongoing.
