The day will start with patchy fog before 8 am, but it will gradually give way to mostly sunny skies, creating a warm and pleasant atmosphere. The high temperature is anticipated to reach near 89 degrees, making it a hot day in the city.

A light northeast wind of around 5 mph will greet Philadelphians during the morning, and as the day progresses, the wind direction will shift, coming from the southeast in the afternoon.

Thursday Night’s Outlook: As evening descends, there is a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms. These weather conditions are expected to develop after 2 am.

Before mostly cloudy skies and patchy fog will characterize the precipitation sets in, the night. The low temperature will be around 72 degrees, making it relatively mild.
