Two Busted for Dealing Drugs in Buffalo by SWAT Team

BUFFALO, NY – On Friday, the Buffalo Police Narcotics Unit and BPD SWAT executed a search warrant on the first block of Pennsylvania Street, resulting in two arrests and the confiscation of significant amounts of narcotics and a loaded firearm.

The search warrant, signed by Judge Rebecca Town, led to the arrest of Felipe Fontanez, 48, and Christian Mojica-Medina, 41, both Buffalo residents.

A High Standard .22 caliber handgun loaded with two rounds, 5 ounces of suspected Fentanyl, and 5 grams of suspected cocaine were recovered during the operation.

Fontanez faces numerous charges, including criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree, criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, criminally possessing a hypodermic instrument, false personation, and disorderly conduct.

Meanwhile, Mojica-Medina is charged with several counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in various degrees and criminally using drug paraphernalia in the second degree. Buffalo Police Department asked anyone with additional information related to this case to contact their Narcotics Unit. The identities of all informants will be kept confidential.
