Wilmington, DE – The Delaware State Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred on Saturday at approximately 10:27 p.m. at NY Gyro Grill, located at 3541 Philadelphia Pike.
According to police, an unidentified black male entered the establishment wearing a black face mask. The suspect brandished a handgun and demanded money from the employees.
The employees complied and the suspect made off with an undisclosed sum of money. He fled the scene on foot before the responding troopers could apprehend him.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported during the incident.
The suspect is described as a black male wearing dark-colored clothing.
