Atlantic City Police Office Used Tourniquite to Save Shooting Victim

Atlantic City, NJ – The Violent Crimes Unit of the Atlantic City Police Department is currently investigating a shooting incident that resulted in the injury of a male individual.

On July 15 at 2:58 PM, patrol officers swiftly responded to a report of a shooting in the vicinity of Indiana and Hummock Avenues.

Sergeant Mohammad Kaiser, upon arrival at the scene, discovered the wounded man.

Acting swiftly, Sergeant Kaiser utilized his department-issued tourniquet to aid the man while awaiting medical professionals. The victim was subsequently transported to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Division, where he received treatment for a non-life-threatening injury.
