BENSALEM, PA – Dating app interactions escalated into an arrest when Uturah Golson, a 32-year-old Pottstown resident, made sexually explicit overtures toward an alleged 12-year-old female.
Starting in March and lasting over three months, Golson’s conversations with the juvenile became increasingly inappropriate. He proposed sexual acts, requested explicit photographs, and eventually arranged a meeting in Bensalem on July 8.
Although the planned meeting did not occur, Golson was spotted in the area, continuing his illicit messaging. His pursuit of criminal behavior intensified when he expressed interest in the juvenile’s 11-year-old friend.
Bensalem Police Department acquired an arrest warrant and informed Pottstown Police Department of its existence. Golson was arrested on Wednesday at his residence and was then transferred to Bensalem Township Police Department. District Justice Joseph Falcone arraigned him, setting his bail at 10% of $10,000,000.
