Rockland County Man Indicted for Distributing Deadly Fentanyl

ROCKLAND COUNTY, NY – Damian Williams, the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York, announced the indictment and arrest of Justin Turnick, a 25-year-old resident of Congers, NY. Turnick is charged with distributing Fentanyl that resulted in death or serious bodily injury to five victims between February 2020 and April 2022 in Rockland County, New York.

Turnick knowingly distributed Fentanyl in various forms, leading to at least six overdoses, two of which were fatal. The victims ranged in age from 19 to 24. If convicted, Turnick faces a mandatory minimum sentence of 20 years in prison and a maximum sentence of life in prison.
