VIRGINIA BEACH, VA – On Monday, Virginia Beach Police Officers were called to a car crash involving a pedestrian at the intersection of Diamond Springs Road and Tierra Roja Drive around 10:39 pm.
The 68-year-old male pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. Preliminary investigations suggest that the motorist was not at fault. The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. No charges are currently being filed. The identity of the victim remains undisclosed as the family has yet to be notified.
The Virginia Beach Police Department Special Operations Bureau is leading an ongoing investigation into the incident.
