Atlantic City Drurg Operation Leads to Five Arrests

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ – Five individuals were arrested on Thursday, by detectives from the Special Investigations Section during a surveillance operation on the 2500 and 2600 blocks of Pacific Avenue. The operation followed complaints about narcotics distribution and possession in the area.

Detectives Eric Evans, Alberto Valles, and Christopher Dodson arrested Kareem Wiley, 21, and Alyssa Bishop, 28, during a drug transaction at 12:45 PM. Wiley was found in possession of 28 grams of cocaine and 135 bags of heroin, while Bishop was found with several Oxycodone pills and multiple active warrants.

Later, at 1:23 PM, detectives Nicholas Berardis and Christopher Smith observed a drug transaction between John Bonds, Daniel Smith, and Nasir Donaldson, who was acting as a lookout. Officer Adrian Nunez-Santos’s K9 partner, Narco, signaled the presence of narcotics in Donaldson’s vehicle, leading to the recovery of two handguns, one reported stolen from Georgia, and an additional 24 grams of cocaine.

All five suspects face multiple charges, including possession and distribution of controlled substances and weapons offenses. John Bonds, 55, was released on a summons with a future court date.
